NATO Summit: Cubs Announce NATO Officials, War Vets to Attend Saturday Night Cubs-Sox Game

NATO members and military veterans are expected to be on hand for Saturday night's Cubs-White Sox game at Wrigley Field, and the Cubs have issued security precautions to residents living in the Wrigleyville neighborhood.

An email release Thursday night confirmed rumors that NATO dignitaries would attend the rare weekend night game. The release said:

"For Saturday's 6:15 p.m. CDT game, a special pre-game ceremony will salute NATO members and veterans of the Armed Forces visiting Chicago. Cubs staff, Chicago Police and City of Chicago Traffic Management aides will be on alert the entire weekend to ensure our visitors, fans and neighbors have safe and enjoyable time."

The release also said that the following streets will be closed to vehicle traffic for 1 1/2 hours before and one hour after the game:
 
Sheffield (Roscoe to Grace)

Clark (Roscoe to Grace) 

Addison (Wilton to Racine) 

Waveland (Wilton to Racine)
