Before Heading to the Polls, Know Your Rights as a Voter

The Illinois Primary Election is just days away and voters are preparing to cast their ballots through early voting and Election Day voting. Amid the United States’ response to the outbreak of COVID-19, the Illinois Primary Election is still planned to take place on Tuesday March 17.

Before heading to the polls, be sure to brush up on your rights as a voter.

If you or anyone you know encounters problems when voting, call the ACLU of Illinois at 1-866-OUR-VOTE (1-866-687-8683), report the incident to your local election board, or report to the Department of Justice.
